Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Mobile Mechanic Geelong

  • Fully Qualified Mechanics
  • -
  • 12 Months Nationwide Warranty
  • -
  • Only Quality Parts and Oils Used

One of the most common reasons why car owners skip routine maintenance is the inconvenience of taking a day off just to bring their vehicle to the car servicing centre. However, neglecting regular maintenance can lead to major breakdowns and more expensive repair bills.

Fortunately, mobile mechanic Geelong providers can now visit your home to conduct on-site routine car service maintenance. Each service typically includes replacing consumable items such as wiper blades, power steering fluid, motor oil, brake pads, brake fluid and radiator coolant. A Geelong mechanic can also perform mechanical maintenance like replacing air and fluid filters, timing belts or chains, and spark plugs.

At Lube Mobile, our certified mechanics can tackle almost all car service maintenance and car repairs, thanks to our vans being fully equipped with tools and supplies. Our network of vans and technicians operates in major Australian cities, including Sydney, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth, and Canberra.

What do mobile mechanics offer?

With more than 250 employees and a large fleet of fully equipped vans, Lube Mobile can perform various forms of assistance, including vehicle inspection, repair, and routine maintenance. Think of us as an auto shop ‘on wheels’ that offers convenience and quick turnaround time.

Compared to most local auto shops, mobile mechanic Geelong has a quicker turnaround time since the on-call auto electrician or mechanic will arrive at your doorstep to prioritise your car rather than handle multiple clients at the same time, which is a common practice in many ‘fixed’ shops (especially those understaffed).

Aside from convenience and quick turnaround, Lube Mobile provides a full warranty on labour and motor replacement parts. Being a member of reputable motor associations in every state of Australia, we adhere to the most stringent set of codes that protect car owners from botched repairs and servicing.

Can you trust a mobile mechanic?

Since transparency is at the heart of our business, our auto electrician and mechanic will show you an itemised repair and maintenance quote before they begin their work. They will also tell you the expected timeframe or completion of the job, although sometimes it may change due to unforeseen car troubles that need to be addressed.

If you want to make sure that you can trust your mobile mechanic, only choose a provider that hires fully certified technicians. At Lube Mobile, we have a very stringent hiring process – we only accept certified mechanics who have spent four years or longer in the trade.

Because we only hire the best, we are confident in the quality we provide that we even offer a full warranty on our mechanics’ labour.

How to hire a mobile mechanic in Geelong?

There are two main things you need to consider when hiring a mobile mechanic Geelong: (1) they should be a member of reputable motor associations, and (2) they should only employ fully certified mechanics.

If you need a reputable mobile mechanic Geelong, visit Lube Mobile to book a service appointment, or call us at 1300 165 482. You can expect a certified technician to arrive at your home the same day or the next business day. Since our goal is to provide convenience and quick turnaround time, you can expect our service within 24 hours of booking.

Our staff is available between Monday and Saturday, with our arrival time starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., depending on the workload.
